Hi my name is Garman Yip. I am a Los Angeles-based Creative Director specializing in integrated campaigns from concept through completion. Though I have worked on many traditional and non-traditional with my background strengths in the digital media. I am currently work as an associate creative director on the NIssan Automotive account. In addition, I have served as Online Director for the department of Web Design and New Media at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Creative Director, Disney Imagineering Research And Development (Contract), Glendale, CA (2012-present)
Ongoing projects to connect Guests to theme parks, hotels, and cruises. Research innovative technologies that can be used with Disney storytelling to enhance the entertainment of physical spaces. Touch points include pre-park, in-park, and post-park experiences.

Associate Creative Director, TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa Del Rey, CA (2009-2011)
Primarily focused on the Nissan Account. Main focus was leading 360 degree car launches, agency partnerships, and brand identity keeper. Duties included creating the style guide for Nissan’s Innovation for All visual identity, digital, television, partnerships, print, out of home. Brand identity work integrated into auto show, dealerships, owner documentation, and all areas of Nissan’s North American brand identity.

Maintained a staff of 15 instructors and a student body of over 180 students spanning 23 courses Responsible for department activities such as portfolio reviews, instructor reviews, final show, and graduation. Interactive art director for Disney/PIXAR Wall-E theatrical release. Worked with PIXAR for asset creation and production. Launched interactive campaigns through tease, pre-launch, and launch phases. Provided creative and design support for Apple product launches.
